May I Share Your Rollercoaster?
Wow!! I can't believe it's August 2008.
The 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing is days away!! How can anyone not feel excited?
I've always had the ability to share someone else's excitement. Like, if you tell me about some of your interesting plans, just feeling excited for you will have me dancing around like an Energiser bunny on steroids. This happens even though I have no part in your plans whatsoever. Heh-heh.
I was with a good friend of mine the other day and one of her seniors at work accused her of 'sleeping her way to the top'**. Apparently this extremely-judgmental senior had heard about my friends so-called activities from highly-reputable sources.
OMG!! I was so angry for my friend that I could've slapped her senior right there and then if I wasn't so peace-loving. Urrgghhhh.. I was not directly involved in the whole hoo-ha but I definitely shared the anger and indignation. Terrible, terrible, the world of office politics!!

PS. I'm having a potluck event to celebrate the opening ceremony (of course!!). 08-08-08 at 8:08pm.
